Terms that apply to the use of this website and to quotations issued by SJ DOORS.

These terms apply to aluferdoors.com and to quotations, samples and orders placed with SJ DOORS, unless a signed contract states otherwise.
Website content
Product descriptions, photographs, drawings, specifications and illustrations on this website are provided for general reference. Finishes, colours, textures and hardware may vary between production batches and screens. Final specification is confirmed by the approved drawings and the approved sample for each order.
No online sales
This website is a product and project information site for trade buyers. It does not provide online ordering, a shopping cart, stock reservation or online payment. Prices displayed anywhere on the site are indicative and do not constitute a binding offer.
Quotations
- Quotations are prepared for the product, quantity, specification, delivery term and destination stated in the inquiry.
- Quotations are valid for the period stated in the quotation document.
- Changes to size, material, finish, glass, hardware, quantity, packing or destination may change price and lead time.
- Freight and insurance are quoted as separate items unless a delivery term such as CIF or door-to-door is stated.
Drawings, samples and approval
For custom and project orders, production follows the shop drawings and samples approved by the buyer. Approval of drawings and samples confirms dimensions, handing, finish, glass and hardware. Orders proceed to bulk production after that confirmation.
Payment terms
Payment terms are stated on the quotation or proforma invoice. Typically a deposit is required before production and the balance before shipment or against documents. Bank charges and currency conversion costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless agreed otherwise.
Production time and delivery
Lead time is counted from the date the deposit is received and the drawings and samples are approved. Delivery dates for ocean freight, customs clearance and inland transport are estimates provided by third-party carriers and are outside our direct control.
Packing, inspection and claims
Products are packed for ocean freight with corner protection, wrapping and labelling to match the approved packing plan. Buyers are responsible for inspecting the goods on arrival and for notifying us of any shortage or transit damage within the period stated in the applicable contract or letter of credit.
Intellectual property
Text, images, drawings and layout on this website belong to SJ DOORS or are used with permission, and may not be republished for commercial purposes without written consent. Customer drawings and specifications shared with us are used only for the agreed project and can be covered by a confidentiality agreement.
Limitation of liability
Information on this website is provided in good faith. To the extent permitted by law, SJ DOORS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the website or from reliance on indicative information published on it.
Governing terms
Where a purchase contract, proforma invoice or letter of credit has been agreed, that document takes precedence over these website terms. Otherwise these terms apply.
